Rob Papen is altijd een fan geweest van analoge synths, zijn studio staat er vol mee. BIT is modulair opgebouwd waarbij het patchen via de Mod Matrix verloopt. Voor snelle connecties is er het ADV panel onder de oscillatoren.

De zestienstemmige BIT heeft twee oscillatoren met wave feedback die ook elkaar kunnen moduleren voor FM en PM plus Sync en ring mod. Verder zijn er twee filters elk met hun eigen adsr envelope, twee lfo's en drie effecten; Chorus, Flanger/Phaser en Delay/Reverb.

De arpeggiator/step sequencer heeft een speciaal spoor dat in de Mod Matrix als modulatiebron beschikbaar is.

B.I.T. werkt als au, vst en aax plug-in onder 64 bit Macos en 32/64 bit Windows.
